Pros and cons of Pursuit of Light app for iPhone and iPad

Pursuit of Light app good for

Beautiful graphics, challenging gameplay, just-in-the-tone music, this games got it all.
Very enjoyable game experience. I find that having some sense of rhythm and awareness of patterns are key to success, so this is right up my alley! Great job!
Its a soothing and aesthetic puzzle game that is NOT so hard you want to tear your hair out. It plays quite nicely.
This is a fun, simple but addictive game. Very good game to pass time and i even find it relaxing
Its a nice change for a game to be so simple. Simple gameplay that still allows for some complexity and simple music that balances the game well. Im enjoying it.
I like this game a lot so far...only been playing it for ten minutes tho.

Some bad moments

The graphics are pretty nice and there is definitely some interesting gameplay in there. It just tends to be hidden by the huge amount of mindless filler and pointless loading times. So many of the levels are the same, mindless pressing the button to move on, no challenges or surprises. I am writing this review because Im pretty sure Ive just played the exact same level I played about 10 levels beforehand (and Im not even that far through the game). This would all be ok if the loading times werent so over the top and we could just get on with it. I mean, what even needs to be loaded from level to level? Its the same graphics, music, sounds, everything every time (so far at least). Surely all that needs to be loaded is the "map" which should be a microsecond process, not sending us back to a loading screen. And this is on the iPhone 5S. Overall, cool concept with waayy too much filler and the loading times are hugely over the top. I would have rated it 3 stars if there werent so many 5 star reviews already..
the game react way too slow, and the arrows clearly didnt touch me but I still die for that. The dumbest game ever
Was hoping for the mechanics to open up into something interesting or rhythmic, but it was basically the same flow the entire way through. No real sense of why each jump is a moon or a star. Some small patterns appear but they are subverted as often as they occur.
Cant understand the hype... I lasted 15 stages to see if I had missed anything, but only boredom struck me...
I was enjoying the game until it interrupted me to ask to rate it. There. One star.
I like the graphics and the tones that are played when you land on the correct symbol. A nice little game to pas the time with. Not complicated but you do have to pay attention.
